Orom Hotel

It's in a great location in the old town. The staff are all kind and friendly. I'd like to stay here again when I go to Bukhara.

We booked this hotel in advance, the reservation was reconfirmed by phone, but on the day of arrival, which was almost 12 o'clock at night, upon arrival at the hotel we were informed that our rooms were occupied/rented out. We spent a lot of time finding another hotel well after midnight, we didn’t even receive any special apologies

The hotel was questionable according to reviews. but we decided to go. The price is the same as everywhere else. higher than cheap) pluses: -location is a definite plus. the hotel is located in the very historical center. You appreciate this when you actually live there. I went out and immediately there was a market and sights for you. restaurants - everything is nearby! economical even in terms of taxi, effort and time. - the breakfasts are delicious. varied - the beds are comfortable - the rooms are clean and beautiful - the service is acceptable. no one was rude, didn’t interfere Cons - Wi-Fi for some reason was not available on all devices - a little shabby in the bathroom - the mirror on the closet was a little broken Our situation with the rooms worked out very well for us. We took 2 rooms. one for a grandmother with children and the second for a married couple separately. but when we checked in it turned out to be a room for a couple with separate beds. and the room for three contains 4 beds. and since our grandmother was sick, we moved her into a room for two. and the whole family successfully fit into a room supposedly for three but in fact for four.

We stayed in double room 24. The Internet literally doesn't work at all. It is impossible to connect to the network (a couple of times during the whole day it miraculously worked, but after an hour there was a disconnect) All socks were dirty after 5 minutes. It feels like the carpet in the room is not vacuumed or shaken out. The curtains smell of dust, they are constantly chewed by the bed (it is impossible to slide them in and out smoothly) One of the windows closes with difficulty (the mechanism gets stuck) In the bathroom the shower is leaking (the hose is torn inside the metal braid) as a result there is no real pressure no to wash. At the reception they asked to fix it, all they did was nod in response. The bed linen has fine black hair, as if someone had already lain on it. The electric kettle is all stained with greasy fingers.. Towels have small stains from rust.. The TV screen is also stained with fingers. Trash buckets without garbage bags and not washed - hello to the smells of seasoned visitors. 2 sockets falling out throughout the whole room, provided that somewhere you need to connect the lamp on the cabinet, and the kettle, and the refrigerator (but you also want to charge your phones and laptops) You still need a door lock try to close and open (it dangles, twists and the door does not fit tightly, it hammers in a draft, you have to look for something to support it) Breakfast was announced as a buffet, in the end it was only on the second day of our check-in, and then 50/50 half was still brought and asked whether to bring it at all) Among the rather serious advantages: Location in the very center with a nice view and a**osphere of tourist streets Fridge, kettle and two glasses in the room Bathroom in the bathroom Guest disposable slippers, soap and small shower gels Sufficiently thick curtains and tightly closing windows , so the sun doesn’t disturb you and the screams from the street don’t bother you You can’t hear your neighbors, only when you enter the room Sufficient amount of furniture for two Comfortable mattresses (nothing sticks in anywhere, except that a double bed is 2 beds made up with a gap between the mattresses) Forced exhaust in the bathroom (well draws moisture out of the room after taking a shower/bath) Cozy interior design (I especially emphasize the colorful arch in the room)
